nick Juday
Nick is a passionate designer with nearly 20 years of experience creating spaces that blend precision, practicality, and modern visual harmony. Throughout his career, he has become known for a design approach that puts functionality first, ensuring every aspect of a project serves a purpose and enhances the way clients live and work.
Guided by a commitment to innovative, creative solutions, Nick’s work often features clean lines, balanced compositions, and thoughtful symmetry. His ability to merge technical expertise with artistic intention allows him to create spaces that are as efficient as they are visually striking.
Outside the studio, Nick spends his time with his wife, Jill, and their two sons, Graham and Griffin. He coaches both boys across the many sports they play, bringing the same patience, structure, and enthusiasm to the field that he brings to his design work. When he’s not coaching or designing, you’ll likely find him on the golf course enjoying a round with friends and colleagues.

Rod Stump
Rod Stump is a highly accomplished cabinetry and woodworking professional with more than 44 years of experience in the custom and semi-custom cabinetry industry. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for excellence in engineering, design, manufacturing, sales, and executive leadership, helping homeowners, builders, architects, and designers bring exceptional living spaces to life.
Over the course of his career, Rod has combined technical expertise with a passion for design and customer relationships. His extensive experience in sales and space planning has enabled him to create personalized cabinetry solutions for virtually every area of the home. His portfolio includes luxury kitchens, laundry rooms, master suites, bathrooms, mudrooms, fireplace feature walls, built-in furniture, breakfast nooks, under-stair storage, home offices, entertainment centers, and other custom architectural millwork.
Known for his attention to detail and practical problem-solving, Rod excels at transforming ideas into functional, beautiful spaces that reflect symmetry and balance for each client’s lifestyle and vision. His deep understanding of cabinetry construction, engineering, manufacturing processes, and design allows him to bridge the gap between creativity and execution, ensuring exceptional results from concept through installation.
With more than four decades of industry experience, Rod continues to bring integrity, innovation, and craftsmanship to every project, earning the trust and respect of clients and colleagues alike.
When not working Rod enjoys spending time with his 6 grandchildren and hiking and bicycling with his wife.

Les believes a truly great space is where creativity meets practicality. As a kitchen and bath design professional with over 40 years of hands-on experience in the cabinet and construction industry, his expertise spans the lifecycle of a project including everything from the fabrication and installation of cabinets and countertops to space planning and project management.
While specializing in kitchens and baths, he also provides thoughtful design solutions for every room of the home, including custom furniture and unique storage applications. Because he understands the technical realities of construction—both residential and commercial, new builds and renovations—he is able to deliver highly organized designs that aren't just beautiful on paper, but flawlessly executed.
Les prides himself on his sharp attention to detail, creative approach to client needs, and a steadfast focus on successful project execution and completion. And with a degree in Economics, he brings a sharp, analytical eye to project budgeting and management.
Outside of work, you can usually find Les on the golf course, traveling to new places, enjoying a good book, or just staying active.

Brooke miller
Before joining Design Studio in 2025, Brooke spent 13 years as a stay-at-home mom while also owning and operating a photography business for eight of those years. Those experiences fostered her creativity, sharpened her attention to detail, and deepened her appreciation for creating spaces where life’s most meaningful moments unfold.
Brooke earned my Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University, which has given her a strong foundation in project management and allows her to confidently guide each project from concept to completion.
Today, she specializes in kitchens, bathrooms, and custom cabinetry. Her favorite part of the design process is building relationships with clients and helping create spaces that are both beautiful and functional—homes that truly reflect the people who live in them. Her design style blends timeless design with warm organic elements and thoughtful architectural details.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children, cheering them on at their sporting events, painting, and finding design inspiration through travel.

Reed Juday
Reed Juday is the founder of The Design Studio, bringing more than five decades of experience, creativity, and passion to the world of cabinetry and home design.
Reed began his career in the cabinet business in 1968 and has since been part of thousands of projects in the area as well in multiple states around the U.S. He has enjoyed working with individual clients as well as some of the most well-known construction companies in the area. His years of experience gave him a unique understanding of both the beauty and function that go into creating exceptional spaces.
Reed started The Design Studio in 2008 with a vision of helping people see what is possible in their own homes. He loves taking ideas, dreams, and possibilities and turning them into beautiful, functional spaces that truly fit the people who live in them. Reed feels incredibly blessed to have built a career he has genuinely enjoyed for so many years.
Outside of work, he is very active in his church and treasures every opportunity to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
For Reed, design has never been just about cabinets or beautiful spaces—it’s about people, relationships, and helping create homes where life can be enjoyed for years to come.
